A standard method of interfacing a computer to disk drives, tape drives and other peripheral devices that require high-speed data transfer. Up to seven SCSI devices can be linked to a single SCSI port. Contrast with ST-506, EDSI, IDE.

Classic drug development works with small, chemically manufactured active-substance molecules. (snRNP; pronounced snurp(s)) A compound comprising small nuclear RNA and nuclear protein, that is heavily involved in the post-transcriptional processing of mRNA, especially the removal of introns. snRNPs are a major component of spliceosomes.

A classification of ICs (chips) based on their size as expressed by the number of circuits or logic gates they contain. An SSI IC contains up to 100 transistors.
