Gottfried Stubauer

Gottfried Stubauer holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Innsbruck, Austria followed by a post-doc research fellowship in Biochemistry at La Sapienza University, Rome. He spent almost 25 years in pharmaceutical industry in Sandoz/Novartis, mainly in generic product development of oral and sterile formulations (small molecules) and in different managerial functions in Quality (always with background of analytical testing, stability, regulatory support, and general Quality Control). Operational excellence programs in release & stability testing and in general lab processes was always in his focus. Currently he has the position of Sandoz Global Head QC / Analytical Sciences & Technology. This includes leading of general lean exercises, incl. the implementation of optimized stability programs. After having led the corporate stability expert network in Novartis (over 2 years) he took over recently the same role in Sandoz (being e.g. in charge of general stability policies and the stability SOP landscape).
